Writing in English Comp. I wasn’t so bad as I thought it would be, it just that I kinda slacked off here and there, which made me unprepared for some drafts. If I took it a bit more serious, than this class would have been the easiest. My writing throughout the semester has been improved, since I understand now that essay all have different tones and genres. I know now that some essay have to be more formal than others, and other essays can be “free” when writing. I finally learned what “style” truly is, and that it depends all on how you write the prompt. My grammar in essays have somewhat improved, and so has my excessive use of commas. Overall, English Comp. I was a class I’m glad I took rather than APLAC, since most people are struggling in that class, as far as I can tell. I hope my writing skills continue to improve in English Comp. II.
